One-off Scottish comedy show hosted by Still Game stars Jane McCarry and Mark Cox, with nine Scottish comedians, at The Pavilion Theatre.
The Scottish Comedians are playing The Pavilion Theatre on Wednesday 21 October, a one-off special show that brings together a whole night of Scottish comedy under one roof. It's a single bill rather than a series of separate sets, with nine comedians performing over the course of the evening.
Jane McCarry and Mark Cox, both known from Still Game, are hosting the night, and they're joined by a broad line-up of Scottish talent: Mark Nelson, Des Clarke, Liam Dolan, Des McLean, Ray Bradshaw, Gareth Mutch and Dean Park. The bill is described as packed with Scottish comedy, and with nine acts on the roster, it's a long run of stand-up rather than a short one. If you're familiar with the names, you'll recognise a good few from the Scottish circuit; if not, it's a fair way to see a cross-section of the scene in one go.

The Pavilion Theatre is on Renfield Street, and the show starts at 20:00. One thing to keep in mind is that it's restricted to ages 16 and over, so it's not one for the younger ones. With nine comedians on the bill, it's a full evening of stand-up, and since it's a one-off, this is the only time this particular line-up will be together at the Pavilion.
