The West End and Broadway smash-hit musical celebrating the 1956 Memphis jam session of Cash, Lewis, Perkins and Presley, performed live with a band.
Million Dollar Quartet plays The Pavilion Theatre on 15 February 2027, with a second show on 20 February. It's a musical that dramatises one night: 4 December 1956, when Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins and Elvis Presley all ended up at Sun Records in Memphis at the same time. It was the first and only jam session the four ever shared, and it's the night the show centres on.
That one session helped shape the trajectory of rock 'n' roll, and seven decades on, the show brings it back to life with more than 20 hits performed live. You'll hear 'Blue Suede Shoes', 'Fever', 'Walk The Line', 'Hound Dog' and 'Great Balls of Fire' among them, with a live band on stage throughout. The production has run in the West End and on Broadway and was a three-time Tony Award nominee, and it's back on the road after returning to London.
Darren Day takes the role of Sam Phillips, the visionary producer who created the sound of rock 'n' roll. He's a familiar face from stage and screen, known for Hollyoaks, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and Chicago. He's joined by a full cast and the live band, who handle the music on the night.
