Glasgow's biggest Halloween experience returns to South Street with over 20 attractions including haunted houses, roller coasters, and carnival food stalls for all ages.
Spooktacular is back at South Street from 2 October to 1 November, returning to the same spot it's occupied in recent years. It's one of Glasgow's biggest Halloween experiences and has become a bit of a city tradition, so if you've been before, you know the general shape of it: a temporary fairground that takes over the street for the month leading up to the big night.
There are more than 20 attractions on site, and they're split across the age groups. The thrill-seekers get the classic haunted houses, roller coasters and drop towers, while the younger ones have spooky-themed carousels and a gentle ghost train. In between the rides, there are carnival food stalls, halal options and plenty of photo opportunities. It's built for families, with magical mini-rides and games sitting alongside the bigger thrills, so it works whether you're bringing small kids or just coming for the coasters yourself. Carers enter free with a non-rider ticket, and assistance dogs are welcome on site.
The fair runs Wednesday to Sunday, with double sessions on weekends and school holidays, so you've got a fair few dates to choose from across the month. There's free on-site parking, though it's first-come, first-served, so it's worth arriving early if you're driving in. The whole thing is at 225 South Street, Glasgow, G11 6JY.

For the rides, they do four-hour unlimited wristbands: £22.50 for Big Monsters (over 1.2m) and £19 for Little Monsters (under 1.2m), with a family wristband for two big and two little monsters at £70. If you're just coming along to watch or wander, a non-rider ticket for park access is £4.
