A festive shopping experience with handmade gifts, decorations and seasonal crafts from talented makers, featuring workshops and live music.
Simply Christmas is at the SEC Centre from Thursday 22 to Sunday 25 October, billed as 'The Crafty Christmas Show'. It's a four-day run in Hall 4, Exhibition Way, Glasgow West End G3 8YW, and it's set up as a place to get your Christmas shopping sorted early.
Inside, around 100 retailers bring together handmade gifts, Christmas decorations, seasonal crafts and unique treats from designers and makers. The focus is on things you won't find on the high street, so it's more of a maker's market than a standard shopping centre. It's part of the Creative Craft Shows family, and a single ticket also gives you access to its sister shows, The Creative Craft Show and The Stitching Show, which is worth keeping in mind if you're into crafts in general.
Beyond the stalls, there are festive-themed workshops to get stuck into, live music, and Father Christmas photo ops for the kids. If you're planning to go, it's worth booking ahead: tickets bought before 18 October save £2 per adult.
