Rising star Sam Coade brings his debut work-in-progress show to the Glasgow International Comedy Festival 2027 at Gael & Grain.
Sam Coade brings his debut show, Jazz Ruined My Life, to Gael & Grain on Saturday 13 March, as part of the Glasgow International Comedy Festival 2027. It's a matinee, starting at 2:45pm, so it's one of those afternoon slots that works well if you've got the rest of your Saturday free.
The title gives you a fair idea of where he's heading, but there's a specific detail to keep in mind: this is a work in progress. That's the (WIP) in the title. It means the show is still being built on stage, with Coade working through new material and figuring out what lands in front of a live audience. If you've seen a few WIPs before, you know the deal β it's a bit different from a polished, tour-ready set, and you're seeing the process as much as the performance.
Coade is billed as a rising star, and this is his debut show, so it's his first full-length outing under his own name. The Glasgow International Comedy Festival is a big one for the city, and this is one of the many shows it brings together across Glasgow throughout the run. This particular stop is at Gael & Grain, which is one of the venues the festival uses for its programme.
