Deep Purple live in concert at the OVO Hydro, with special guests Mammoth and Jayler.
Deep Purple play the OVO Hydro on Thursday 19 November, part of a UK tour running through November 2026 with dates in Newcastle, Birmingham, Manchester and London. They're sharing the bill with two special guests: Mammoth, formed and fronted by Wolfgang Van Halen, and Jayler.
It's a big name for the Hydro. Deep Purple have been around for more than five decades and are in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, with a catalogue that includes 'Smoke on the Water' and 'Highway Star'. Their 1970 track 'Child in Time' was reworked for the trailer of the latest season of Stranger Things, which brought it to a whole new set of listeners. They also put out a new album, =1, in 2024, so there's recent material to go alongside the older songs.
