Evening of improvised hip-hop comedy in which freestyle rapper Mc Hammersmith searches for his biological family, based on his parents MC Hammer and Vanilla Ice.
MC Hammersmith brings Ice Ice Nepo Baby to the Pavilion Theatre on Wednesday 19 May 2027, with the show starting at 7:30 PM. He bills himself as posh West London's leading freestyle rapper, and he's already clocked up more than half a billion views online.
The whole act is built around a pretty wild premise. He tells the story of his eighteenth birthday, when his parents — MC Hammer and Vanilla Ice — revealed he was adopted, and the two stars spent the years that followed pushing him to the top of the rap game. From there, the show has turned into a quest to find his biological family, told through an evening of improvised hip-hop comedy. It's built on audience suggestions, lightning-fast freestyle raps, and brand new routines for 2027, so the night will change depending on what the crowd throws at him.
It's a mix of stand-up and freestyle, with the rap part being the engine. He takes suggestions from the room and works them into raps on the fly, so no two shows end up the same. The 2027 set adds new material to that format, and the whole thing is framed by that family history he keeps coming back to.

One thing to keep in mind: it's recommended for ages 16 and over because of adult themes, so it's not one for the younger ones. The Pavilion Theatre is at 121 Renfield Street, Glasgow, G2 3AX, and the show kicks off at 7:30 PM on Wednesday 19 May.
