A family-friendly sensory session for children aged 1 to 5 with bath bombs, slime and shower jellies, including craft activities and a personalised shopping experience.
Lush Glasgow Fort is running Bubbles & Tots, a sensory session for toddlers and their grown-ups, on Tuesday 20 and Wednesday 21 October. It's aimed at children aged 1 to 5, and each session lasts about an hour, starting at 10am. The whole thing is set up as a family-friendly morning out, so you'll be there with your little one rather than dropping them off.
Every session has its own theme, which the kids explore through stories, sensory play, creative activities and hands-on fun. This time around, the focus is on the world of Lush, with toddlers getting stuck into bath bombs, slime and shower jellies. There's bath bomb play, potion making and creative moulding with safe products, so it's very much about letting them touch, squish and experiment. The idea is to encourage curiosity, creativity and confidence through age-appropriate sensory activities, and it gives parents and carers a chance to connect while the kids are occupied.
Your ticket covers more than just the session itself. It includes access to the sensory play stations, a creative craft activity, a hot drink for the adult and a Lush goodie bag to take home. There's also a bit of a perk for the parents: while you're with your child, staff can pick and pack items from a list for you, so you can get your shopping sorted without having to navigate the shop with a toddler in tow. You do need to stay with your child throughout the session.
Every week we pick 🏆 the 5 best 🏆 things to do in Glasgow and send them to your inbox. Just one weekly email, no spam.

Tickets are £12.50 each, which covers one adult and one child aged 1 to 4. If you're bringing more than one child, you'll need an extra ticket for each additional little one. The sessions run on Tuesday 20 and Wednesday 21 October at 10am at Lush Glasgow Fort, in the Glasgow Fort shopping centre in the East End, just off Junction 10 of the M8 (G34 9DL).
