Stand-up show 'Here If You Need Me' by Kevin Bridges, Scotland's comedy powerhouse, at the OVO Hydro.
Kevin Bridges is back at the OVO Hydro with his new show, Here If You Need Me, starting on Tuesday 3 November. It's his first return to the stage since Overdue Catch-Up in 2022, which followed Brand New Tour in 2018 and A Whole Different Story in 2015. He's a Glasgow comic through and through, and this is a brand-new set, so you'll be hearing material he's been working on since his last run.
He's a big name in the city, and the numbers back it up: he's played 63 sold-out shows across the OVO Hydro and SEC venues, more than any other performer in their history. That's a lot of nights on the same stage. He's pulled in more than two million fans worldwide across his tours, and in 2018 his tickets were named Ents24's Fastest Selling Ticket of the Year and Ticketmaster's UK Ticket of the Year. Last year he took things across the Atlantic with his first North American tour, which drew over 40,000 people and finished at New York's Beacon Theatre.
Critics have described his work as a "comedy masterclass" in The Herald and called him "one of the most insightful, down-to-earth and consistently brilliant comics of his generation" in The Guardian. If you're not familiar, that's a fair summary of what he does: sharp, observational comedy delivered in a way that feels like a conversation with someone you've known for years.
