Impressionist comedian Jon Culshaw brings an evening of stand-up, stories, sketches and song to The Pavilion Theatre Glasgow.
Jon Culshaw brings his solo show Me, Myself & Others to The Pavilion Theatre Glasgow on Sunday 25 April 2027, with the curtain going up at 7.30pm. If you've spent any time listening to BBC Radio 4, you'll know him as the voice of Dead Ringers, the long-running satire that's built on his ability to nail a huge range of public figures. On stage, he does something similar: an evening of stand-up, stories, sketches and song, drawing on that same vast array of famous voices.
It's a bit of a variety show in one person, so you're getting a few different things in one night rather than just a straight stand-up set. The sketches and the voices are the core of it, but there's song in the mix too, and the stories hold it together. It's the kind of night that works because it doesn't stick to one gear.
Culshaw's career has mostly been about voices, and he's worked across a lot of different formats. On TV, he's been part of Spitting Image, The Impressions Show and Newzoids, and more recently he appeared in Channel 4's docudrama Partygate. He's also spent plenty of time on the road: he toured his solo comedy show Imposter Syndrome to packed houses, played the one-man play Les Dawson: Flying High, and went on the Dead Ringers 25th Anniversary Tour. He's even done the London Palladium pantomime, so he's used to playing to a big, live room.
