Club night headlined by Honestav, the stage name of Av Freeman, at SWG3 Warehouse.
Honestav plays SWG3 Warehouse on Wednesday 14 October, with doors opening at 7pm. It's a headline club night, and the show is sold out.
Honestav is the stage name of Av Freeman, who grew up as the youngest of five in rural Missouri, split between a mother struggling with addiction and a cash-poor father. At fifteen, he found his older brother dead by suicide and channelled his grief into music, writing and releasing more than a hundred songs over the next two years, working by day and recording until 4am. That early output set the pace for everything that followed.
He also built a large audience through TikTok, where his 'Broke Boyfriend' sketch-comedy series amassed over 160 million views. In 2024, his father also died by suicide; on the drive home, he wrote 'I'd Rather Overdose', a song he says changed everything. The two sides of his work — the comedy and the grief — sit side by side.
