Glitterbox

Glitterbox returns to SWG3 on Saturday 5 December, taking over the Galvanizers for another indoor show. It's a club night that's become a bit of a fixture in the city, and this one follows the same format as before: a long run of house, disco, funk and groove, with the whole thing fronted by a roster of dancers and divas. The night takes over both the Galvanizers and the TV Studio, so it's an indoor affair rather than a single room.

The line-up is a long one, with eight names listed. Daisybelle, Everything Fat, Tony Hifi, Sean, Horse Meat Disco, Lev, Mousse T. and Sophie Lloyd are all on the bill, so you'll get a fair few different sets across the course of the night. Horse Meat Disco bring their disco-focused sound, and Mousse T. is a name most will recognise from the house side of things. The rest of the bill fills in the gaps around them, with the night moving through groove, funk, disco and house.

It's an 18+ event, so you'll need to bring ID to get in. Doors open at 3pm, which is early for a Saturday night, and since it runs across the Galvanizers and the TV Studio, there's plenty of room to move between the two. If you're planning on spending the whole afternoon and evening there, it's worth keeping that start time in mind.
