Elephant Sessions perform their new album 'This Place of Ours' in full, backed by a live string section and joined by special guests.
Elephant Sessions play their new album This Place of Ours in full at The Glasgow Royal Concert Hall on Saturday 23 January, as part of Celtic Connections. It's a one-night-only show, and they're playing the record from start to finish, backed by a live string section. The album itself was shaped by the band's return to Scotland and the Highlands, and it marks their first time working with vocals. This is also the first time they're presenting the music in its entirety, with all the record's collaborators on stage together.
That means the guests from the album will be there in the flesh: Beluga Lagoon, Alice Faye and Hamish Hutcheson of VLURE. On top of that, they're adding a brand-new collaboration with the acclaimed Cathal Murphy. The band chose Celtic Connections as the place to bring the record to life, and they're bringing the whole lot of them out for it.
