A festive party night with a Lionel Richie and Motown tribute act, a meal and a DJ disco at The Ferry.
The Ferry is running a Christmas Party Night on Saturday 28 November, and the music is a Lionel Richie and Motown tribute by Ralph. It's one of those full-evening things rather than just a gig: you get a meal and a DJ disco on top of the live act, so it's set up as a night out from start to finish.
The tribute is the main draw, with Ralph taking on the songs of Lionel Richie and the Motown classics. Richie's catalogue runs from the early Commodores days through to his solo years, and the Motown side brings in the sound of the Detroit labels that defined the sixties. Between the two, there's enough to keep a dancefloor going for a good while. When the live set wraps up, a DJ takes over for a disco, so the music carries on long after the tribute has finished.
Because it's a party night, the meal is part of the package, meaning you don't have to worry about sorting dinner separately. It's a Saturday night in Glasgow, and the whole thing is held at The Ferry, which sits right on the Clyde. The meal, the tribute, and the disco are all bundled together, so you can just turn up and let the evening unfold.
