Chloe Petts, star of Taskmaster S22, returns with a new hour of stand-up comedy exploring transphobia.
Chloe Petts is back at The Stand Comedy Club on Saturday 13 March 2027, with a new hour of stand-up called Call Me By Your Surname. If you've followed her recently, you'll know her from Taskmaster Series 22, and this is the new show she's taking on the road.
In Call Me By Your Surname, Petts turns her attention to transphobia, working the room with the sharp, observational style that's made her a regular name in British comedy. It's the kind of set that doesn't shy away from the heavy stuff, folding her own personal perspective into a wider social critique. The show has a reputation for being as thought-provoking as it is engaging, so it's not just about the punchlines — there's a fair bit to chew on after you've left the room.
That balance has gone down well with the critics. Brian Logan of The Guardian called her 'one of the most compelling young comics', and Bruce Dessau of The Evening Standard described her as 'clearly a rising star whose name will soon be in lights'. Between the Taskmaster spot and the new hour, she's becoming a face you'll see more and more of.

It's a single-act bill, so Petts is the only name on the poster for the night. The show runs at The Stand Comedy Club, 420 Great Western Road, Glasgow, G49HZ, and kicks off at 6:00pm on Saturday 13 March.
