Al Murray is back at The Pavilion Theatre Glasgow on Wednesday 3 February 2027, with his new stand-up show All You Need Is Guv. It's a straight bill with no support, so the whole night is just the Guv himself on stage.
If you've followed him for a while, you know the character: the world's favourite Pub Landlord, who started out as a humble publican and worked his way up to become a multi-award-winning figure in British comedy. The Daily Telegraph once called him 'British comedy royalty' and 'a national treasure'. He first hit the mainstream with the prime-time ITV1 show Happy Hour and A Second Audience With Al Murray The Pub Landlord, and critics have described his interaction with the crowd as 'one of the wonders of the comedy world'.
This show follows a sold-out first leg across 2026, and the material is right in his wheelhouse: his signature 'Common Sense' hot-takes and a pint-in-hand perspective on the state of things. He's always been at his best when he's working the room, and that's exactly what he does here—taking on the news and the times from behind the bar.
