Contemplative yoga class based on the Yoga in Daily Life system, suitable for beginners to experienced practitioners.
Yoga for All is back at The Salisbury Centre on Wednesday 28 October, running from 6:30 to 8pm in The Studio. It's a contemplative class built around the Yoga in Daily Life system, combining slow and adaptable yoga asanas with pranayama breathing exercises and simple self-enquiry meditation techniques. The session is pitched at everyone from beginners to experienced practitioners and is designed to accommodate most health conditions and some physical limitations, so it's a good one to try if you're not sure where you fit in.
Swami Ganga Mata runs the class on behalf of Yoga in Daily Life Scotland, a registered charity (SCIO SC049297) managed by a small team of volunteer trustees. The charity is now based in the Scottish Borders after fifteen years in Edinburgh, and the class is occasionally covered by the volunteer Marcus Wilson. The Studio is at 2 Salisbury Road, Edinburgh, EH1 6 5AB. It's not wheelchair accessible, though the kitchen door and toilet are, and the Garden can be reached via a movable ramp through the Art Room Annex.
