Festive dance spectacular with Strictly Come Dancing star Gorka Márquez, world-class dancers, singers and the XMAS DOLLS bringing holiday hits to life.
Xmas on the Dancefloor comes to Usher Hall on Thursday 10 December, a festive dance show put on by Showplanr. The guest star is Gorka Márquez, who's been a professional dancer on Strictly Come Dancing since 2016. Before that, he represented Spain in the World Latin Championships and made the semi-finals of the 2012 WDSF World Cup, so he's a proper competitive dancer as well as a TV face. He's joined by a cast of dancers, singers and the XMAS DOLLS, who bring a range of festive hits to life with choreography and vocals.
The setlist draws on a broad mix of artists: Mariah Carey, Slade, the Spice Girls, Whitney Houston, Elton John and Michael Bublé. It's a big, varied selection of songs that most of us know, worked into a choreographed show rather than a concert. The whole thing is aimed at all ages, though it's for over-8s only, and anyone under 16 has to be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over.

It's a mid-week date in the run-up to Christmas, so it works as a night out with friends or a family outing. The show starts at 18:30 at Usher Hall on Lothian Road, and tickets start from £38.50, which includes the booking fee.
