Potterrow is hosting a UV Bubble Party on Saturday 24 October, and it's exactly what it sounds like. The whole night is built around UV bubbles, with confetti, dancers, face painting and glitter on the go. It's a neon-fuelled one, so if you're thinking of coming, wearing something that glows under UV is the way to go.
On the music side, the DJ sticks to student anthems, throwback hits and guilty pleasures — the kind of set that's more about singing along than standing still. It's a broad mix, so you'll get the big room numbers alongside the older tracks and the songs everyone knows the words to. Between the bubbles and the confetti, there's a fair bit going on around the room, too.
When you're not on the dancefloor, the space fills with things to do: beer pong, giant Connect 4, darts and retro video games. There's also a Pick & Mix station available while stocks last, so it's as much about the activities as it is about the music. If you're not in the mood to dance all night, you can just drift between the games and the sweets.
