Punk rock band The Macc Lads play La Belle Angele, marking a return to the venue.
The Macc Lads are back at La Belle Angele on Friday 23 October, their first return to the venue in some time. They're a punk rock band from Macclesfield, and they're the only act on the bill that night.
If you've not come across them before, they describe themselves as 'punk degenerates', and they've built a reputation around politically incorrect lyrics and notorious behaviour. It's that particular combination that defines them as much as the music does — the sort of band that doesn't really do subtle. They play in the punk genre, so you'll know the general territory: loud, fast, and built for a live room rather than a quiet listen at home. The set will be a return to the same stage they've played before, and they're the sole feature of the evening.

The gig runs from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm, so it's a relatively early start and finish for a Friday night. Tickets are £27.50, which includes the booking fee. You'll find them at La Belle Angele, 11 Hastie's Cl, Edinburgh EH1 1HJ.
