London blues and soul four-piece The Cinelli Brothers play La Belle Angele in the Old Town, their only Scottish gig on tour.
The Cinelli Brothers play La Belle Angele on Thursday 28 January, their only Scottish date on tour. They're a four-piece from London who blend soul and blues with a contemporary twist, and the set pulls from a wide spread of roots: electric Chicago and Texas blues, rock and roll, gospel, modern rhythm and blues and vintage soul. It's a multi-instrumental band, and they've built their name on high-energy live shows.
That energy has paid off. They were named UK Blues Band of the Year 2026 at the UK Blues Awards, so they're coming up here with some fresh recognition behind them. The mix they work with is a broad one — the electric Chicago and Texas blues provide the grit, rock and roll keeps it moving, and gospel and vintage soul add the melodic, vocal side of things. It's a lot of ground to cover in one set, and they're known for weaving it all together rather than treating it as a series of separate styles.
Because this is their only Scottish date on tour, it's the one chance to catch them in Edinburgh. They're a London band, and they're bringing that same high-energy, multi-instrumental approach to the Old Town. If you've got a soft spot for blues and soul, this is the one to keep on your radar.
