Cinematic dining experience screening 'Love Actually' with a seven-course menu served in sync with the film.
Taste Film are bringing Love Actually to New Park Square on Saturday 12 December, part of their cinematic dining series that turns a screening into a full meal. It's not just a film with some snacks on the side; the whole thing is built around the movie, with a seven-course menu served in sync with the action on screen. Dishes and finger canapés arrive as key scenes play out, so you're eating along with the characters rather than waiting for the credits to roll.
The menu pulls from the film's specific moments. There are tea-infused cocktails, a gift-wrapped dinner, and desserts for fools as a nod to Alan Rickman's character, with banoffee pie on the list too. It's billed as a festive date-night outing, and the experience is rated 15, so keep that in mind if you're thinking of bringing anyone younger. It's one of several cinematic dining nights Taste Film runs, and the idea is to frame the film as something to taste as much as something to watch.
