Stand-up show by Romanian comedian Victor Patrascan, who calls himself Europe's 'comedy nomad', with 100% new jokes.
Victor Patrascan brings his stand-up to Pleasance Courtyard on Thursday 22 October, with the show running from 8 pm to 10 pm. The whole thing is performed in English, and he's promised 100% new jokes compared to what he played last year, so it's a fresh set even if you've caught him before.
Patrascan is a Romanian comedian and social commentator who's been touring non-stop for the past six years across Europe, Asia and the Middle East, with no stable address to call home. He calls himself Europe's 'comedy nomad' and a 'comedy pioneer' β he's the only comedian in the world permanently on tour, and the first English-speaking comic to tour countries like TΓΌrkiye, Kazakhstan, Iceland, Japan, Cyprus and Poland. He's performed in more than 60 countries, and he's even ended up on a few government watchlists along the way.
He works entirely independently, producing and performing every show himself without agents or sponsors. His humour comes from that lived experience as a vagabond, poking fun at the quirks and stereotypes of each place he visits. The show is performed entirely in English, and as mentioned, it's a completely new set from the previous year.
