Halloween-inspired street photography workshop that walks through Edinburgh's Old Town and Royal Mile to capture shadows, costumes and atmospheric moments.
Spooky Streets is a Halloween street photography workshop running along the Royal Mile on Sunday 25 October, from 2:30 pm to 4:00 pm. It's put on by Vibes of Edinburgh, and the whole thing takes ninety minutes.
The walk starts at St Giles' Cathedral and works its way along the Royal Mile through Edinburgh's Old Town. The idea is to take the city's spookier side and make it the subject: shadows, unusual details, costumes, characters and atmospheric moments. Along the way, you'll pick up on how to use composition, light and storytelling to turn those sightings into striking street photographs. It's open to all ages, so it works whether you're a seasoned shooter or just starting out.
Every week we pick ๐ the 5 best ๐ things to do in Edinburgh and send them to your inbox. Just one weekly email, no spam.
