Immersive Motown and soul dining experience with a live band, a two-course meal and prosecco, for over-18s.
Soul Supper is taking over Brewhemia on Sunday 8 November, part of a run of Sunday afternoons on 4, 1, 8 and 22 November. It's an immersive Motown and soul dining experience that puts a live band at the centre of the room, with music running throughout the evening. The set draws on the songbooks of Marvin Gaye, The Supremes, The Temptations and The Four Tops, so you'll recognise the names and the sound before the first note even hits.
The organisers describe it as a dining experience with live music rather than a tribute show, and that distinction carries through to how it works. The singers roam the space and interact with the tables, and you're welcome to move around the room as they go. It's not a case of sitting in one spot and watching a stage from a distance; the music happens around you.
On the food side, the meal is two courses, and you get a welcome glass of prosecco on arrival. The dress code is smart, and it's for over-18s only. The show has picked up the Family & Visitor Attraction Award and hundreds of five-star reviews, so it's not just a one-off.
