A Halloween-themed boozy drag brunch with performances, themed cocktails and brunch dishes at Brewhemia.
Hallo-Queens is taking over Brewhemia on Saturday 31 October for a boozy drag brunch, running from 10:00 to 12:30. It's a Halloween celebration done in Brewhemia's style, and the venue is worth a mention in its own right: it's the only Beer Palace in Scotland, home to twelve copper tanks of award-winning, unpasteurised and unfiltered beers. If you've never been, it's a proper beer hall, so the drag brunch sits right in the middle of all that.
The morning is built around drag performances, with iconic Halloween characters appearing throughout. Alongside the shows, there are themed games and a fair few spooky surprises. To drink, they're serving wickedly twisted cocktails; to eat, hauntingly tasty brunch dishes. The whole thing is pitched as a gathering for your favourite witches, ghouls and glam queens, so it's the sort of morning that works best if you bring a group along.
