Stand-up show 'Hot Beef Injection' by Taskmaster champion Sophie Duker at the Monkey Barrel Comedy Club.
Sophie Duker is back at Monkey Barrel Comedy on Thursday 6 May 2027 with Hot Beef Injection, her new stand-up show. It's part of her 2027 tour, and it's a full hour of new material.
If you've come across her name but aren't sure where to place her, she's a Taskmaster champion and an Edinburgh Comedy Award Best Newcomer nominee. She also bills herself as a retired sugar daughter, which is usually a good sign that the set won't be playing it safe. The show itself is described as a provocative and hilarious hour, so it's the kind of thing that'll likely leave you thinking about it long after you've left the room.
Beyond the stand-up, she's got a fair bit of work across radio and TV. She co-hosts GrownUpLand on BBC Radio 4 and created the comedy night Wacky Racists, which the Evening Standard recommended. On screen, she's appeared in Frankie Boyle's New World Order on BBC2, Riot Girls on Channel 4, and 8 Out of 10 Cats on E4. Hot Beef Injection brings all that back to the stage for a single night in the city.

It's a Thursday night, so it's a good one to keep in mind for a mid-week outing. The show starts at 7:30pm at Monkey Barrel Comedy, and tickets are £23.65, which includes the booking fee.
