Weekend healing circles recreating traditional shamanic collective healing, guided by trained practitioners, with no prior experience required.
Shamanic community healing circles run at Art and Spirituality in Edinburgh over the weekend of Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 February 2027, from 10 am to 5 pm each day. They're led by Giada Gaslini of the School of Shamanism.
These are healing circles rather than the more common women's circles, and they draw on traditional shamanic cultures where healing happened within the whole tribe instead of in one-on-one sessions. The community is seen as a unified whole, with each person contributing to the well-being of others and a strong collective energy emerging to amplify the healing process. Across the weekend, trained practitioners guide participants to receive healing and to channel spirits and offer support to others. An introduction to shamanism and healing opens the sessions, so you don't need any prior experience to take part.
If you have your own healing tools, you're welcome to bring them along, but coming as you are is just as fine. It's worth keeping in mind that the workshop is offered for educational and spiritual development purposes only and isn't a substitute for professional medical, psychological or therapeutic care.
