Foxglove Bookshop takes over the Edinburgh Pop Up Shop in Leith with romance books and hour-long crafternoon workshops to make book-inspired bag charms.
Foxglove Bookshop is taking over The Edinburgh Pop Up Shop in Leith from Friday 6 to Sunday 8 November, turning the space into a romance-focused pop-up for the weekend. If you're into romance, it's a good excuse to head down to Leith: they'll be stocking signed copies and exclusive editions, alongside bookish merchandise, so there's a bit more on the shelves than you'd find on a normal day.
The weekend is built around the crafternoon sessions. These are hour-long workshops running throughout the three days, where you make your own book-inspired bag charm. All the materials are provided, so you just turn up and get stuck in. If you're taking part in a workshop, you also get a £5 discount on book purchases of £15 or more, which is a handy way to pick up a couple of those signed editions while you're there.

Between the workshops, the pop-up stays open for browsing, so you can spend as much or as little time as you like. The whole thing runs from Friday 6 to Sunday 8 November at The Edinburgh Pop Up Shop, 27 Albert Place, Leith, EH7 5HN. Each crafternoon session costs £16.96 per person, and booking is required, so it's worth getting your spot sorted before you head down.
