Halloween-themed headline show by Revelation 23, with support from The TV Casualties and Gambit, at The Banshee Labyrinth.
Revelation 23 headline The Banshee Labyrinth on Saturday 31 October, with support from Gambit and The TV Casualties. It's a Halloween night, and for r23, that's the whole point. They've spent years writing music for the day without ever actually playing it on the date itself, so this is the first time they're doing it.
They play a mix of alt-metal, hard rock and horror-punk, and the headline set is billed as an extended, Halloween-themed show. It's built around reanimating old favourites, pairing creepy, atmospheric love songs with heavy, mosh-ready headbangers. The support comes from two Edinburgh bands: The TV Casualties, whom they describe as undead theatrical horror-punk masters, and Gambit, a siren-led hard rock outfit.
