Award-winning magician Ash Pryce brings a Halloween-themed magic show with seance, mind reading and witchcraft.
Ash Pryce brings Ash Pryce's Spook Show: Magic That Goes Bump In The Night to The Banshee Labyrinth on Thursday 29 October, a late-night Halloween special that runs into the early hours of Friday 30 October. Pryce bills himself as a 'Paranormal Illusionist and Ghost-Master', and the show is built on the idea that spooky isn't just for 31 October. The bill mixes seance demonstrations, mind reading and witchcraft practices, and it's designed to shift gears as it goes: at times funny and ridiculous, at others dark and macabre.
Pryce has been a sell-out performer for ten years running and was named a Sell-Out Performer at the Edinburgh Horror Festival. He also came away from the 2026 Fringe Biscuit Trends Awards as runner-up for Best Cabaret & Variety, and has been shortlisted at the Neurodiverse Reviews Awards. The show has drawn praise from Bunbury Magazine, World Magic Review and the Edinburgh Fringe Review, so it's not just a local turn — it's a polished act with a fair bit of critical backing behind it.

The venue is The Banshee Labyrinth, 29-35 Niddry Street in the Old Town, and the late start puts it right in the Halloween window. It kicks off at 22:15 on Thursday night and carries over into Friday morning, so it's a proper night-out slot rather than a teatime thing. Tickets are £10-13, and the show runs until the early hours of Friday 30 October.
