Free exhibition of Sheila Dalgleish's colourful art quilting wall hangings inspired by the landscapes of Scotland and beyond.
Sheila Dalgleish is bringing her latest exhibition, Reflections, to Dundas Street Gallery from Saturday 6 to Saturday 13 February. It's her sixth show, and she's hinted it might be her last, so it carries a bit more weight than a usual gallery run.
Dalgleish is a Scottish textile artist known for her art quilting, and Reflections brings that work together around the landscape as she's experienced it travelling around Scotland and beyond. The exhibition is made up of colourful wall hangings that explore her feelings about the places she's visited, and her work is described as lively and colourful. If you've seen her work before, you'll recognise that focus on the outdoors, but this one pulls together a wide range of landscapes from across the country and further afield.

It's a short run, so you've only a week to catch it. The gallery is at 6 Dundas Street, Edinburgh EH3 6HZ, and it's open 10am to 4pm daily throughout the show. Admission is free, so you can just drop in whenever suits you. One practical thing to keep in mind: the gallery isn't wheelchair accessible, with access via a short flight of steps.
