Perfume Making Masterclass

Ladies Love Fragrance & Complement Your Health are running a perfume making masterclass at the Edinburgh Marriott Hotel Holyrood on Saturday 20 March, from 11am to 1pm. It's a two-hour, hands-on workshop where you design your own custom eau de parfum, so you'll leave with something you actually made yourself rather than just watching someone else do it.

The session starts with a sampling of 24 perfume notes, all created by teams of master perfumers. From there, you refine and blend your own fragrance to take home on the day in a 5ml bottle. If you run through it quickly, refills are available on the day, and you can order more whenever you like in the future. The blends are described as unisex, each a perfume in its own right, and refreshments are provided throughout. It's a proper morning of it, and you walk away with a scent that's yours.

Beyond the public workshops, the organisers also do private bespoke perfumery experiences for birthdays, weddings and corporate team-building events, so if you're planning something for a group, that's another way to go. The masterclass itself runs from 11am to 1pm at the Edinburgh Marriott Hotel Holyrood, 81 Holyrood Road, EH8 8AU, and tickets are £49.
