A live cast of West End singers and a rock band perform Meat Loaf anthems by candlelight at The Assembly Rooms.
Meat Loaf by Candlelight comes to The Assembly Rooms on Friday 19 March 2027, with the show starting at 7:30pm and doors opening at 6:45pm. It's a night of Meat Loaf anthems performed live by candlelight, and it arrives in Edinburgh direct from London's West End.
The cast is made up of West End singers, including stars of the West End production of Bat Out of Hell, and they're backed by a live rock band. Together they run through the songs that built Meat Loaf's name: 'Bat Out of Hell', 'Anything For Love', 'Two Out of Three Ain't Bad', 'Dead Ringer for Love' and 'For Crying Out Loud'. The whole thing is staged by the same company behind the West End production of Bat Out of Hell, and they've reimagined his catalogue as a candlelight performance, with the singers fronting a full rock band.
