Marky Ramone's Blitzkrieg

Marky Ramone brings his Blitzkrieg Live Tour 2027 to La Belle Angele on Friday 5 February, with the set running from 19:00 to 23:00. It's a high-energy run through the Ramones' catalogue, so if you've got a soft spot for that sound, this is exactly what it's built for.

For those who know the name but not the history, Marky Ramone sat behind the kit for the Ramones for over a decade, playing on some of their most well-known records. The Blitzkrieg tour is built around that legacy, and the set is a run of the band's classics played live. It's not a retrospective or a tribute act — it's one of the original members bringing the songs back out.

Because the set is drawn from the Ramones' catalogue, you'll hear the songs that defined their sound: the fast tempos, the simple chords, and the kind of straightforward punk that made them a household name. It's a high-energy set, and since it's a tour of the classics, it's the songs you'll recognise rather than new material.

The gig is at La Belle Angele in Edinburgh, and tickets are available through the venue's website. It runs from 19:00 to 23:00 on Friday 5 February, so you've got the whole evening to work with.
