Magical Autumn Wreaths [Adult Creative Workshops]

Magical Autumn Wreaths is an adult creative workshop taking place at Lauriston Castle and Gardens on Saturday 17 October, where you'll spend a few hours making your own autumnal wreath. It's an adult-only session, so it's more of a proper creative morning or afternoon than a family drop-in.

The workshop is run by Margaret Findlay, who'll be leading the group through the process. You'll be working with autumnal materials to put together a wreath that fits the season, and you'll leave with your finished piece to take home. If you've never made one before, that's fine — the session is designed as a workshop, so you'll be guided through it rather than left to figure it out on your own.

There are two separate sessions to choose from on the day, so you can pick the one that suits your schedule: the morning runs from 10:00 to 12:30, and the afternoon goes from 13:30 to 16:00. Both are two and a half hours long, which gives you plenty of time to get the wreath right without having to rush it. If you're coming from across the city, the morning slot gets you in and out early, while the afternoon lets you sleep in.

Lauriston Castle and Gardens is at 2a Cramond Rd S, Edinburgh EH4 6AD, and the cost for the workshop is £40. Between the two time slots, you've got the choice of a morning or an afternoon session on Saturday 17 October.
