Monthly in-person business networking morning with a talk on leadership and ethical decision-making at Clockwise Edinburgh Leith.
Leith Business Networking returns to Clockwise Edinburgh Leith on Thursday 29 October, the latest in a monthly series that brings together business professionals in the heart of Leith over a cup of coffee to connect, share ideas and grow their businesses. This one runs from 9 am to 10 am, so it's an hour's start to the working day rather than a full morning.
The guest this time is Duncan Wallace, who'll give a short talk on leadership, ethical decision-making, organisational change and building sustainable businesses. It's a broad set of topics, but they all sit around the same question: how to lead a business that lasts and does things the right way. If you're running your own thing or managing a team, it's the kind of stuff that usually comes up in the quiet moments of the day, and having it laid out in a talk gives you something concrete to talk about with the other people in the room.
The venue is Clockwise Edinburgh Leith, a bonded warehouse in Commercial Quay converted into open-plan office space, with restored period features and an on-site micro-brewery with outside seating. It's a working coworking space, so the morning is in-person, dog-friendly and for ages 18 and over. Beyond this monthly business meet, the venue runs a regular LGBTQ networking event and charity fundraising activities throughout the year.

It's a straightforward setup: an hour on a Thursday morning, a guest talk to get the conversation started, and the rest of the time for catching up with people you know or meeting new faces from across the local business community. It runs from 9 am to 10 am at 84 Commercial Street, Leith EH6 6LX, Edinburgh.
