Spoken word and music show by Joshua Idehen, celebrating his debut album, with special guest KURT.
Joshua Idehen headlines La Belle Angele on Monday 16 November, with doors opening at 19:00. He's a British-born Nigerian spoken word artist and musician, and the night is built around his debut album, I Know You're Hurting, Everyone Is Hurting, Everyone Is Trying, You Have Got To Try.
That title is a mouthful, but it tells you exactly what the show is about. Idehen works across poetry, spoken word and music, and this set celebrates the record he's built his recent work around. He'll be joined by special guest KURT, who opens the bill before Idehen takes over for the main set. If you've come across his name but haven't seen him live, this is a good place to start: the album is the focus of the night, so you'll hear the material it's built from.
