Harry Stachini returns to the Monkey Barrel with 'Lobster', a new stand-up show about moving house, travelling the world, falling in love and living with his dad.
Harry Stachini returns to the Monkey Barrel Comedy on Saturday 31 October with Lobster, a brand-new show that marks his first time back in the room since his 2024 Fringe run. If you've followed his work, you'll remember Grenade, the show he took to the Edinburgh Fringe two years ago. That one sold out its entire run, picked up a Best Show nomination and earned a string of 4- and 5-star reviews, with critics calling it 'modern observational storytelling at its best'. He followed that up with another sell-out Fringe in 2025, and Lobster is the new material that comes after.
As the title suggests, this is a fresh start. Lobster draws on the changes Stachini and his family have gone through over the last few years: moving to a new postcode, travelling the world, falling in love, and becoming housemates with his own dadโall while navigating puberty in 2025. It's the kind of personal, observational comedy he's built his recent reputation on, and it's being staged in one of Edinburgh's favourite comedy rooms.
It's a single-name bill, so it's just Stachini on stage for the full set. The show is billed as British comedy at its best, and given the track record of Grenade, it's a good bet that Lobster will sit in that same observational, storytelling vein. If you missed his Fringe runs, this is a chance to catch him in a proper club setting rather than the August chaos.
