A tribute show by an ensemble of musicians playing the Rumours line-up of Fleetwood Mac, featuring hits like Dreams and Don't Stop.
Go Your Own Way plays the Assembly Rooms on Thursday 15 October, a tribute to the Rumours line-up of Fleetwood Mac. That particular five-piece — Stevie Nicks, Mick Fleetwood, John McVie, Christine McVie and Lindsey Buckingham — remains the band's most commercially successful to date, and the show focuses on that era. An ensemble of musicians recreates the live energy and passion of the original, taking the audience through the group's songbook.
The setlist draws from the hits that defined that period: Dreams, Don't Stop, Everywhere, Rhiannon, Gold Dust Woman, Little Lies and Big Love. It's a good cross-section of the Rumours years, with the big singles and the deeper cuts from the same run of records. The show is for over-8s only.
Critics have been kind to it. The Daily Echo said you feel the magic leaping from the stage, What's On In Wales called it a superb guided tour through the years that does Mac proud, and BBC Sheffield described it as absolutely phenomenal in every single way. If you've spent any time with those records, you'll recognise the songs they're working through.
