Free group transmission meditation held at the time of the full moon, as a service to the world and for personal spiritual development.
Full Moon With Transmission Meditation is back at OMH Therapies on Sunday 20 December, part of a monthly cycle that follows the lunar calendar. The session runs from 5pm sharp until 6pm, so it's a focused hour rather than a long evening.
Transmission Meditation is run by the Edinburgh Transmission Meditation Group as a free, volunteer-organised service, and they hold their session at the time of the full moon each month. The organisers explain that the full moon is particularly important for the reception and distribution of spiritual energy, and that full moon transmissions will gain more significance as humanity enters the New Age of Aquarius, eventually becoming recognised as festivals to be celebrated with increased potency.
The practice itself is presented as a simple group meditation that works on two levels at once: a dynamic service to the world and personal spiritual development. It's described as a service activity aimed at creating a more potent global network of light for humanity and the planet, with transmission meditation groups around the world linked by an aspiration to serve the needs of the world. If you're new to it, that's the core of the thing: you're meditating for the benefit of others as much as for yourself.
