Musical comedy double act Flo & Joan, sisters Nicola and Rosie Dempsey, play their show 'With Feeling' at The Lyceum.
Flo & Joan play The Lyceum on Saturday 3 July 2027, as part of their 2026-2027 live comedy tour. The act is sisters Nicola and Rosie Dempsey, a multi-award-winning musical double act who build their sets around the intersection of music and deadpan delivery.
Their show, With Feeling, starts with the setlist of another 'real band'. From there, they write their own material, using that list as a springboard to ruminate on questions like 'What is music?', 'How do you be a band?' and 'Is comedy?'. It's a premise that lets them play with the idea of being a band while keeping the focus on the writing.
They've built their following on a sharp-tongued style that they describe as trying to take up as much of the stage as possible. The musical side is the engine, but the deadpan is what gives it the edge. Between the two of them, they handle the singing and the comedy, and the whole thing is held together by that same dry, unsentimental tone.
