Workshop with florist Nikki's Fleurs to design and craft your own festive wreath from fresh greenery, pinecones, dried fruit and ribbon.
Nikki's Fleurs is running a festive wreath making workshop at the Leonardo Hotel Edinburgh Murrayfield on Sunday 22 November, Sunday 29 November, and Tuesday 1 December. It's a guided session where you design and craft your own wreath from fresh greenery, pinecones, dried fruit and ribbon, and you take it home when you're finished.
Nikki's Fleurs runs the whole thing, talking you through the process as you go. You'll start with a base of fresh greenery and build it out with pinecones, dried fruit and ribbon, so you're working with natural materials rather than just plastic and tinsel. By the end of the session, you'll have a finished wreath to hang up for the season.
There's a bit more to it than just the crafting. When you arrive, you're served a glass of spiced mulled wine or a non-alcoholic spiced apple juice, and there's a seasonal grazing table to pick at throughout the session: mini sandwiches, sausage rolls, cheese and crackers, mince pies and gingerbread. It's as much about the food and drink as it is about the wreath.
