Pre-Christmas workshop at Lauriston Castle to craft festive table centrepieces and felt wreaths with Hilary Lovie.
Lauriston Castle is hosting a festive table centrepieces workshop on Sunday 15 November, led by Hilary Lovie. It's a pre-Christmas session run by the castle, and the whole thing is about getting into the festive spirit by making a few decorations for your own home.
There are two projects to work through during the morning. First, you'll make small festive table pots to use as centrepieces, which you can either light up with sparkling lights or use as candleholders. Then you'll turn to small felt wreaths, the kind you can hang around the house or give away as gifts and tokens of kindness. Between the two, you'll come away with a few handmade bits to scatter across your table and walls as December approaches.
