Dr John Cooper Clarke brings his new collection 'Have It' to The Queen's Hall on his 2026 UK tour, with support from Mike Garry and Luke Wright.
Dr John Cooper Clarke is at The Queen's Hall on Friday 27 November, bringing his latest poetry collection, Have It, to Edinburgh as part of a 20-date UK tour. He's one of Britain's most well-known poets, built on a reputation for anarchic punk poetry, sharp wit and a distinctive delivery that's played to audiences across cultures, art forms and continents for decades. The Edinburgh date is one stop on a run that takes him all over the country.
Have It is his newest body of work, and he'll be introducing it live alongside his classic fan-favourites, so the set mixes the new material with the older stuff people know. It follows WHAT, which came out in 2024 and became an instant Sunday Times bestseller. Before that, his 2020 memoir I Wanna Be Yours looked back at his life and career. The tour is about getting this latest collection out in front of a live crowd, with the older pieces still in the mix.
