Deltamanic

Deltamanic play The Hive on Saturday 9 January, with the set starting at 7:00 PM. It's a single-band bill, so they'll be taking the full night.

They're a six-piece from Alloa, formed in 2021 when frontman Dean Oliver brought together a group of childhood friends. The line-up is a full one: three guitars, three singers, bass, drums and keyboard, and they describe their sound as a mix of funk, rock n' roll, soul and disco. They've always put their live shows at the heart of what they do, so this is the format they're built for.

The Hive is in the Old Town, set in six of the area's underground vaults just off the Royal Mile. It's been open since July 2007 and holds 650 across two rooms, with two bars, a cocktail bar and two dancefloors. It runs seven nights a week and books tribute acts alongside original music and covers, with late licences running to 3am.

So, it's Deltamanic at The Hive on Saturday 9 January, starting at 7:00 PM.
