Afternoon session for children to explore the National Museum of Scotland's collections with games, activities and a guided gallery visit.
Curiosity Club is back at the National Museum of Scotland on Saturday 31 October, starting at 10:30. It's a session built for children to explore the museum on their own, without their adult helpers, so it's one of those rare mornings where the kids get to lead the way rather than follow you around.
The sessions are built around some of the museum's most exciting collections, and the format mixes games and activities with a guided gallery visit. The idea is to turn a museum trip into an independent adventure for kids, letting them get stuck into the collections and figure things out for themselves instead of just watching from the sidelines. It's designed to give them their own space to be curious, which is exactly what the name suggests.

If you're planning to bring your lot, you'll find it in the Learning Centre on Level 4 of the National Museum of Scotland, on Chambers Street in Edinburgh Old Town (EH1 1JF). It kicks off at 10:30 on Saturday morning, so it's a good way to get the kids out of the house and into something they can really sink their teeth into before the rest of the weekend takes over.
