Wellbeing workshop exploring the stories we tell ourselves, held at Suite 13 on Leith Walk.
CROW are running a wellbeing workshop at Suite 13, 130 Leith Walk on Tuesday 8 December, starting at 7:30 PM. It's titled The Stories We Tell Ourselves, and that's exactly what it's about: the narratives we build around our own lives and how they shape the way we feel and act.
If you've ever caught yourself stuck in a loop of thinking you're not quite right for something, or why things always seem to go a certain way, you've already started the work. The session looks at those internal scripts we run in the background of our days—the ones we rarely question but that end up steering us more than we realise. It's less about positive thinking and more about noticing the patterns, seeing where they come from, and figuring out how to shift them when they stop serving you.
It's a workshop, so it's not just a talk to listen to. You'll be working through these ideas with other people in the room, talking through the stories you carry and hearing how others handle theirs. It's the kind of thing that's easier to get your head around when you're doing it alongside others rather than trying to untangle it on your own.
