Free Friday morning music session for children aged one to three at St George's School Nursery, led by the school's Junior School Music Teacher.
Musical Sounds is the next session in the Come and Play series at St George's School Nursery on Friday 20 November, running from 10:30 to 11:00. It's a half-hour of music for the youngest ones, and it's free to join.
If you're not familiar with the setup, it's part of a wider collection of Come and Play sessions run by the nursery. They're a set of fun Friday mornings led by certified Bookbug Session Leaders, and this particular one is run by the school's Junior School Music Teacher. It's aimed at families with children aged one to three, so it's designed for the toddler crowd rather than the tiny ones.
Musical Sounds isn't the only thing on the rota. It sits alongside Bounce and Rhyme Time and Messy Play, and the sessions run most weeks during term time, so if you're in the area on a Friday morning, there's usually something to drop into. The school itself is St George's, an Edinburgh girls' school for ages 2-18, whose founding mothers pioneered women's education in Victorian Scotland.

On the day, there's on-street parking around the main school entrance, and prams and buggies are left outside the Junior School. The session runs from 10:30 to 11:00 at St George's School Nursery, Garscube Terrace, Edinburgh EH12 6BG, and entry is free.
