A string quartet performs a selection of Ariana Grande's songs in a live, multi-sensory candlelight concert experience at St Mary's Episcopal Cathedral.
Candlelight: Tribute to Ariana Grande comes to St Mary's Episcopal Cathedral on Saturday 16 January 2027, starting at 6:30pm. It's a string quartet taking on the music of Ariana Grande, played by candlelight in the cathedral's Gothic Revival interior.
The set is a tentative programme of her songs, and it reaches back across her career. You'll hear the more recent we can't be friends (wait for your love) and yes, and? alongside the older records, with The Way and Just A Little Bit Of Your Heart from her early days. In between, there's no tears left to cry, Love Me Harder, Dangerous Woman, God is a woman, Into You, One Last Time, and hate that i made you love me.
The venue is St Mary's Episcopal Cathedral on Palmerston Place in Edinburgh's West End. It's a Category A listed building designed by Sir George Gilbert Scott and consecrated in 1879, well known for its three spires. These days it hosts classical concerts, recitals, and Candlelight events.
